that's right, the sign DOES say:
"a ride is still only a penny at Meijer"
this may be old news to other lansing moms here, but i just discovered this awesome deal at the Meijer in Okemos after dining at Olive Garden with the girls for girls night. we ran in to get some replacement bulbs for daphne's night light. i was so excited when i realized that this ride was only a penny, and it wasn't some joke or misplaced sign. daphne rode it 4 times. and i am still laughing at the fact that this is so exciting to me.

Beckett rode that ride and the moment we put the penny in and when it started to make the mechanical droning sound Beckett FREAKED OUT and continued to do so for the entire time we were next to that dinosaur. I may try him out again as he gets a little older.
