daphne really enjoys my glasses. when i'm wearing my reading glasses she looks at me very strangly like she doesn't know what is on my face. but she is quick to grab at them and try to put them on. i have to admit it is pretty cute.
here she is going to the park. she could walk there all by herself if i let her. usually she goes right to the swing.
daphne's first experience with stickers. she really liked sticking them to her body, then pulling them off and resticking them on.
i have realized it seems that a lot of daphne's pictures are taken at the table. well, she just does lots of funny things at the table. we just have to take the pictures...
this is one of my favorite faces daphne makes. she just randomly makes it. it crakes me up.

daphne is learning that markers and pens leave marks when she uses it on things. she gets a kick out of drawing on herself and on us. john was letting her be creative on him.
daphne is finally able to do the facial features thing. she'll close her eyes real tight when you ask her where her eyes are, she'll point to her nose and grab her ears. i'm working on her mouth and tummy now. she's getting to be so big that i can't believe it. she's my little girl now, not my little baby. but i guess she'll always be my little baby. her hair is getting longer and she is saying more things each day.
she even has her own way of saying "teletubbies" which she loves!
my dad is coming into town next week to visit but i think it was just another good reason for him to come to a new place and hunt. him and john are gonna go hunting for deer. they can leave me out of it though, that sounds way boring.
other than all that everything is pretty much the same. i'm just waiting for the cool weather to come around. til next time...
