i just noticed my diet dr. pepper said that. should i be drinking phenylalanine? i don't know...

so for those of you who haven't heard yet, john has gotten 4 A's out of his 5 classes so far. he just hasn't found out the other class yet. he found out today that he booked his research and writing class. which means he got the highest grade in the class. john is pretty excited. he said if gets a good grade in the last class he wants ice cream tonight. i'm very proud of my hard working law school husband!

also, my dad is coming into town this weekend! he's suppossed to get here this saturday. it's pretty exciting. he's coming up to go hunting with john, which they can leave me out of. that sounds WAY boring. hopefully daphne will remember him, or at least warm up to him.

i forgot to tell this funny story of daphne from saturday night. so for date night, john and i frequently go to sam's club because we can get a whole pizza and sodas for under 10 bucks. it's pretty dang cheap. afterwords we walk around and look at all the stuff we are too poor to buy, but mainly to let daphne run off some energy. she likes to push shopping carts, so we let her do that- with some guidance. but this time she got the idea to get underneath the cart. i helped get down there and she looked sooo funny. she was lying on the part where you can put really heavy things on her stomach looking forward. it was hilarious. and then she would get out and then want to get back down there again. so, anyway it was just a funny story i wanted to share. til next time!
