congested = :-(

today i was really sick. i still am. i was even too sick to go to the gym- that should tell you something. i literally sat on the couch for the majority of the day. i had to fight to stay awake while daphne played in the living room from 11 to 12:30 this afternoon. when she finally went to bed at 1 for her nap i went in and out of a nap myself.

after a while some kids outside woke me up. and then i started to work on my lesson for young womens this week. and after daphne woke up we went to the store. i learned to not buy her hostess fudge brownies as a treat. we were suppossed to share it but she wouldn't let me take it out of her hands. i learned something there. she's never done that before. and then later on while i was making dinner john gave her some doritos to munch on and she threw up on the kitchen floor because they kept getting stuck in her throat (i told him not to do it).

after dinner we sat around for a while until we got stir crazy and we went outside to hang out in our backyard and check out the progress. the landlords are taring everything up and cleaning out the shed. we saw our neighbors working on their yard and i think we just got motivated to start working in ours. i raked the front yard and weeded this little dirt area and then found bricks from all over the property and bordered the dirt area with it. john cleaned up the back yard some. there is still some work to be done, and the shed is almost done being cleaned out, then we can put our bikes in it. we discovered that underneath all these bushes that were growing on the yard that were cut down was a brick pathway leading from the neighbors property to our shed. it's pretty cool, and old looking.

and then tonight while i was trying to get daphne showered and ready for bed i had an epiphany. the shower we have is just a small one without anything that could keep daphne in. you just walk right in. so i tested something out, to see if i could put the baby gate up on the shower to keep her in. i found out that i can so i'm going to do that tomorrow. because now, i'll get daphne undressed and she'll get in just long enough to get wet and then run around all over naked and dripping all over upstairs.

anyway- that was my exciting day. tomorrow is going to be kinda the same. except i am going to go clean the BSA office again and i need to finish my lesson.
