A tribute

We were fortunate to make many friends in Lansing during our short stay, but I have to give a shout out to our friends Kim and Rick who we met not more than a few weeks before we left. Our time together there was short, but we had a great bond that created a life long friendship. They were so helpful to us with moving and the yard sale, and even bought a bunch of our stuff. We gave some of the cooler things to them for free though, simply because we couldn't fit it into our car or trailor. We will really miss them... heck I miss them already.

Then bright and early the next morning they showed up (with delicious coffee!) to help us out a ton. We couldn't have done it so easily without them.

One thing we have to remember them by is a recipe Rick made for us once that we call "Rick's casserole" which consists of macaroni and cheese, bacon bits, onions and broccoli.... It's good. We made it last night.
