I just HAVE to share the recipe for Play-dough. Through my job I use a website that tracks observations and helps plan curriculum. It also provides a killer recipe for home made play-dough. It's super easy, and is as much fun to make as it is to play with. So roll up your sleeves and let down your hair because you're kids are going to want to help and it might (will) get messy. And that's OK!
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1 cup water
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon oil
food coloring
*Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. After ingredients are mixed, gently heat on the stove until mixture becomes really thick. Let sit until cool enough to handle.
