Arriving: Day 5

Eastern Washington is nothing like I imagined. It's actually very deserty, but has lots of lakes and rivers. I can't remember the name of this lake in the picture.

But we made it to Seattle on schedule, drove through downtown, drove by the space needle, and headed down to Vancouver. It was perfect. Rainy and cloudy, just like we like it.

We are totally unpacked now, everything is set up and we are back into normal life. It felt so good to get back into the swing of things and gain a sense of normalcy. We had a week before John had to start his externship to get some new furniture and set it up. We've been checking out little bits of Portland and Vancouver and really really love it. We love our townhome, John loves his job, and I love my dishwasher. Anyway, if you really want to see it, I can post some pictures of the townhome. But til then, I'm done blogging about the trip.
