i wasn't going to do this at first, but i saw it on janee's blog and decided to go ahead...

yes
2. What were your reactions?
we were pretty surprised as we were not planning on it. we were wondering how we were going to take a baby to law school with us. it took a while for me to feel happy/excited.

4. How did you find out you were pregnant?
i obviously missed my period, and then took a test. we were at the grocery store and as we were checking out i said to john "i think i should buy a pregnancy test". when we got home i took it, and as we were waiting for the results john fell asleep on the couch as i was putting away groceries. i saw that it was positive and woke john up and showed him. i believe his exact words were "how did you get it to say that?" like i pulled a trick or something...

john's dad
6. Did you want to find out the sex?
YES- and i was sooo happy it was a girl

May 20, 2006
8.Did you deliver early or late?
I delivered 3 and a half weeks early- on April 28th 2006.
9. Did you have morning sickness?
i felt pretty crappy for a couple months. and only threw up twice.
10. What did you crave?
junk food/fast food
11. Who irritated you the most?
lots of thing irritated me, i wouldn't say it was one person.

female
13. How many pounds did you gain throughout the pregnancy?
40- and it WAS because i ate everything in sight.
14. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
nope

Mercy Southwest hospital in Bakersfield California
16. How many hours were you in labor?
i woke up at 3:30 am when my water broke, and delivered daphne at 3:34pm that day- so 12 hours.
17. Who drove you to the hospital?
john
18.Who watched?
john, my mom, nurses and doctors
19.Was it natural or c-section?
Natural- and it only took a few pushes
20. Did you take medicine to ease the pain?
i got an epidural when i was a 4- and didn't feel ANYTHING after that. it was AWESOME!

7 lb 5 oz
22.Did your child have any complications?
no
23. What did you name baby?
Daphne Jane
24. How old is your first born today?
she will be exactly 23 months old tomorrow

Hey! Its me..girl who is buying your couch and also from myspace/babyshower/whatever else. I am up late with insomnia and am checking all my friends blogs, and came across yours, from Megans. Anyway..its funny how much our daughters/births have in common. Myla was due April 22, but born the 14th(ok..so thats not in common..but close)I gained 40lbs.. I went into labor at 3:30 gave birth 12 hrs later...got an epidural at 4...Myla weighed 7 lbs 5 oz..and...her middle name is Jane. So you see why I just HAD to comment. How crazy is that? Ok..bedtime...maybe.
