i mentioned previously that our car batter had died. we took it in to walmart and it was confirmed that we did need a new battery. $76 dollars... :-( at least i know now that the car wont be dead when i need to start it. it was really starting to get embarrassing because we could start it by popping the clutch down the hill on our street- but if the car stopped and there wasn't a hill to start it on than we'd but stuck. so it was a real problem. but now it's fixed.
speakin of walmart though- i used to be really anti walmart. i think it all started when their employees stole $60 from me... but i've just had bad experiences with walmart. but i had to explore it a bit because we were just spending too much money on food and other stuff. so i decided to try grocery shopping at a superwalmart to see if i'd save any money. and i think i am. i just did my third grocery shopping trip their today and i really think i am saving money. so i think i'm converted to walmart shopping- somewhat. sometimes target just has better things. for example, i would never buy walmart clothes- but target clothes are awesome. so, i think i like walmart. but i hear a lot of bad things about them so i don't think i'll be shopping there forever, just in law school.
so a funny story from today ... daphne saw the grapes in the produce section and really really wanted some. so i started to give her a few and she like them so much. she's never eaten a full grape before because i didn't think she'd be able to eat it without choking. she like them a lot. she probably had like 10 or 15 grapes. well later, john was changing a poopy diaper and he said he saw something in there he'd never seen in her diaper before. i looked at it and it was 3 or 4 almost whole grapes! it was a pretty funny moment.
